On-Device Processing

All computation happens locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch:

No data leaves your device. There are no servers to send it to.

What Hiko Does Not Do

Data Storage

Workout history is stored locally using SwiftData on your device. This data never leaves your phone or watch.

Location Data

Hiko uses your location during workouts to detect terrain type via OpenStreetMap. Location data is processed on-device and used only for terrain coefficient calculation. Route data is stored in HealthKit if you grant permission.
